Ark Fibre Optics offer an end-to-end design and installation service for Satellite fibre optic IRS Systems, specialising in multi dwelling units from anywhere between 10 to 500+.
The systems are designed around Triax, Whyte, Fracarro and Global Invacom equipment with a focus on the bespoke design of passive optical networks between the satellite head end and the GTU/Multi-switch location be that in the riser or apartment. We offer varied solutions of complete fibre to the home (FTTH) solutions which are installed within the property and fibre to the riser (FTTR) using IRS multiswitch boards in the riser with coax cables feeding to the apartments. We can also offer solutions based on 1 – 4 satellites.
Ark Fibre Optics can provide the entire end to end design and installation service or specific areas within the process where assistance is required, working closely with your project managers and fibre installation companies on specific project areas.

IRS System Design
The design of the system is an integral part of the process, providing an accurate design will ensure that budgets are adhered to and that the systems are installed efficiently.
During the design we will take into consideration lead times, both overall and staged, material costs and supply and due to our in depth knowledge and experience in the industry, the type of equipment best suited for your particular project. We know that this is far from a one size fits all industry and where quality, efficiency and price must all be reached without compromise, we can offer the support and advice to achieve this. Our UK based workshop allows us to offer bespoke solutions when the standard options don’t quite fit the bill. We understand the challenges faced with minimal space in installing equipment and can offer custom containment solutions which conceal unsightly components which can be both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
We offer system design as part of the overall design and installation work or as a stand alone service.

Once the system designs are approved, the team will survey the site to ensure that the design can be installed in the most efficient manner. We can also supply a stand alone IRS technical submission document or file that can be incorporated into a larger combined document if required.
Working around your schedule and project roll out the team will provide a timeline for installation. Once installed all works will be reviewed and tested. After this has been completed you will receive a detailed report including test certificates.
We understand that things don’t always go to plan, where possible we will adjust the implementation plan to suit your needs. As with any on site installation we are armed and prepared for the known unknowns.
IRS System installation as a standalone service
If you have your own designs and require assistance with your installations we are able to help. Based on your designs and technical specifications we are able to install your IRS system design or give advise on your current designs.
As with a full end to end IRS system installation we will survey your site in conjunction with your system designs and schematics. Once completed and approved a project timeline will be created, taking into consideration your project’s overall timelines.
