Ark Fibre Optics specialises in bespoke pre terminated fibre cables (sometimes know as pre-terminated fibre, pre terminated fibre optic cables or simply pre terms) for internal and external use. Pre terminated cables are designed to make the installation of fibre optic backbone links easier. They remove the cost of fibre engineers and fibre installation companies to terminate on site.

Ark Fibre Optics offer not only an installation service for Satellite Fibre Optic IRS Systems but our experience allows us to also offer a design service as part of or independent from the installation itself.
Our 2 Core armoured fibre optic patch leads are manufactured using a robust 3mm or 3.3mm cable. The cable is constructed of 1 or 2 fibre cores contained within a flexible steel tube that is then protected by multiple stands of Kevlar Yarn. This is all encased within a 3mm or 3.3mm outer jacket. These cables have high impact and crush resistant properties making them durable in high traffic areas. They offer added protection and space saving over normal duplex patch leads. The options available on these armoured fibre optic patch leads are 3.3mm TPU External Black, 3mm Internal/ External Black LSZH UV Stable and 3mm Internal Simplex White LSZH. These cables can be used internally or externally for permanent or temporary connections.
